Honestly, how can U NOT love Matt Bomer?
He is a class act, through and through!
The actor, who only just came out of the closet while acknowledging his partner, Simon Halls, and their children during an acceptance speech earlier this year, has opened up about his decision to announce his sexual preference to the masses. He reveals that while it’s important that we stop differentiating people by their skin color or sexuality, he’s still so grateful to be helping those who may be struggling to accept themselves with his story!
He explains:
“I never really endeavored to hide anything. But there were times I chose not to relegate my history to the back page of a magazine, which to me is sort of akin to putting your biography on a bathroom wall. I had somebody from the military approach me a few weeks ago just saying how this [coming out] helps people, affects people. It brought me to tears. They need saving, certainly in this day and age as much as ever├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥no matter how much we think we’ve progressed. What we really have to do is stop the adjective before the job title├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥whether it’s ‘black actor,’ a ‘gay actor’ or ‘anything actor.’ Everybody thinks that equality comes from identifying people, and that’s not where equality comes from. Equality comes from treating everybody the same regardless of who they are. I hope the media and the press catches on to that because it’s time to move out of 1992.”

EVERYONE deserves to feel equal to everyone else, and we think we’re not alone when we say that the gay community is SO lucky to have as inteligent, compassionate, and dignified a man as him!
You just keep doing what you’re doing, boy!
Your partner and kids should be very, very proud of you! We certainly are!
