It is! That’s a rover!
The first look at the set of The Martian, the new film starring Matt Damon and directed by Ridley Scott, surfaced online on Friday. And it was pretty awesome!
The photo featured Matt, in costume, out in the desert somewhere, and looking super hunky and happy!
The film is about an astronaut, played by Matt, who is left behind on Mars after a space mission, and must somehow figure out a way to signal folks down on Earth to come back and get him!

And apparently this first look photo was only revealed to the world to show off how Good Will Hunting hunk won a Super Bowl bet, ha!
Here’s what the photo taker and writer of the book which inspired the film, Andy Weir, wrote on Facebook:
“Matt Damon’s assistant, Colin (a hardcore Seattle Seahawks fan) lost their Super Bowl bet. So now he has to wear a Patriots jersey for a year.
And hey, look at that name patch on Matt’s shirt!”
This movie has A LOT of buzz going for it, and we’re sure this latest photo won’t do anything to dispel that talk!
In fact it may just make people even MORE excited to see this!
Although Seattle Seahawks fans probably won’t enjoy the good nature ribbing going on in regards to their football team.
