And another one bites the dust!
Mayim Bialik has officially dumped her Hubby of nine years, Michael Stone.
The Big Bang Theory star, who has two children with Michael, cites “irreconcilable differences” in the divorce papers filed last Wednesday.
In an official statement published the same day, Mayim explains that the divorce was not an easy decision:
“Divorce is terribly sad, painful and incomprehensible for children. It is not something we have decided lightly.”
Rightly so, Mayim’s main concern right now is for her children, hoping that she and Michael can make the “transition to two loving homes” as painless as possible:
“Our sons deserve parents committed to their growth and health and that’s what we are focusing on.”
The former child star is seeking joint legal and physical custody.
This news is super sad, but we’re happy that the couple is staying amicable for the children. Nothing worse than an ugly custody battle!
