Everyone knows that Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono are not the best of friends.
Still, you’d think after all these years there’d be a way to put differences aside and be amicable.
Though they didn’t outright do anything to each other, the fact that they both chose to skip the opportunity to pose together on the red carpet has some subtext to it for sure. The two just stuck with their dates, which, in the scheme of things, is just fine, but you’d think that two people so close to the Beatles would want to reconnect — especially during an emotional show that was inspired by the late George Harrison.
Regardless of the mutual snub, the show was a hit, and brought loads of celebs in for support, including Marcia Gay Harden, Elijah Wood, and The Killers.
And don’t forget, Paul’s playing Yankee Stadium soon! Do U think Yoko will be there??
