McDonald's Now Offers Weddings In Hong Kong

So.
When we say that McDonald’s offers weddings in Hong Kong, we don’t mean that two people decided to get married there and the restaurant let them.
We mean that McDonald’s actually offers weddings.
So weird!
It’s called McDonald├óΓé¼Γäós Wedding Party, and it’s been available there for almost an entire year!

“By offering engagement and wedding packages to these young people, McDonald’s might be seen as trying to tap into a sense of nostalgia. It can be seen as evidence of how successfully McDonald’s has re-created itself as a local brand in Hong Kong. McDonald’s is part of the collective memories for many Hong Kong people.”

There are three locations to do it in Hong Kong, and the ceremonies can entertain up to 100 people!
The culture differences are so interesting! Especially with something the people assume is universal like McDonald’s!
