McDonald's Testing Eco-Friendlier Coffee Cups

GOOD!
This should have happened a LONG time ago!!
Some 2,000 of McDonald’s restaurants, 15 percent of all those in the U.S., are part of the testing.
The crazy idea that needs testing? Replacing the foam cups with paper ones.
What are they testing? This:

“The objective of this test is to assess customer acceptance, operational impact and overall performance.”

McDonald‘s is being applauded for this, as they were applauded for getting rid of foam containers in the 1990’s.
Still, this is just a test. There is no official date for the phase-out.
We support this, for sure!
