OMG, is this true? And does it mean Meghan Markle is DUNZO??
The Suits alum left the royal family (with hubby Prince Harry in tow) and came back to Hollywood. But thus far her attempts to rebrand herself have gone disastrously. The Spotify deal was a huge flop, the Netflix partnership doesn’t seem to be going much better. It’s not just that her projects aren’t hitting, they also are taking FOREVER to produce!
Well, her big-time Hollywood agents have had enough, according to a bombshell new report from Page Six! The outlet claims multiple sources have told them WME DROPPED MEG!

One industry insider told them the Duchess was fired by the agency — one of the biggest in Tinseltown — because she was “too demanding” and “difficult to work with.” Seems we heard that somewhere before… From a lot of someones, in fact. All those royal aides blamed her for the feud with Princess Catherine, saying she was a huge diva right from the start. A source who worked on the Archetypes podcast called it a “really, really, really awful” experience. It’s rarer for someone to defend her!

Supposedly Meghan blew up last month and demanded a meeting in which she “expected decks and plans” for herself or Archewell. That apparently led to a huge fight with CEO (and newly minted billionaire) Ari Emanuel. Remember, Ari is the guy Entourage based Ari Gold on. Not the kind of character who tolerates much! Per the insider:
“Ari was done with her.”
Another source corroborated the same story! Whoa! Oh man… and a week before With Love, Meghan drops, too. Oof… that “difficult” label is a tough one to shake!
If this is all true this isn’t just going to be a WME problem! We mean, you can survive a bad reputation in this town if you keep the money coming in. But if you’re missing the product, too? That’s the end!
OK, so the big question is… is what we’re hearing from the grapevine sweet truth? Or sour lies? Well… It depends who you believe at the moment.
Other sources say she hasn’t been able to get a meeting with Ari himself in a while, but she’s still being dealt with via her day-to-day agents. Maybe that’s what it meant when Ari was done with her?
Meghan has been at WME since April 2023 and was supposedly being looked after by powerful agents Brad Slater and Jill Smoller, the latter of whom reps her pal Serena Williams. But when asked about the specifics, one Hollywood insider told the outlet:
“I don’t know what those projects are, but WME is definitely not working on Meghan’s personal business.”
Crazy stuff! However — a rep flat-out denied the schism, telling Page Six:
“WME continues to represent Meghan and Archewell.”
But the outlet must feel pretty confident in their multiple sources if they’re willing to publish anyway. We mean, it’s not unheard of for reps to lie to spin a story that’s otherwise a PR disaster. But come on, there’s no way to keep up a lie like that for long!
