Meghan Markle is going to do what’s right for her — and nobody can tell her any different!
As the Duchess of Sussex prepares to follow in the recent high-profile footsteps of both Kate Middleton and Princess Diana, the new royal has ideas about how and where she wants to welcome her child — only, they’re going to be a little different than both ladies before her!

Even though both Kate and Di had their children delivered at the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in Westminster, Meghan and Prince Harry have already come out to say that won’t be their itinerary for this child… in fact, they’re going to be keeping things VERY private, and doing it all a little differently!
Of course, different sometimes means bad in the world of the royal family — what with tradition and history, and all that. But not this time! Apparently, Meghan is being encouraged to do things her way and figure out whatever is right for her and baby as the big delivery date fast approaches!!
Royal author Ingrid Seward spoke to People about the expectations surrounding Meghan, noting that pretty much everybody is down for her to carve her own path with pregnancy and childbirth (below):
“People are delighted that Meghan is doing things differently. She was under no pressure to do things the same.”
Awww! That’s nice!! And always so good that Meghan doesn’t have to feel burdened by the past as she makes the proper decisions for her family and new baby!
Of course, Meghan and Harry are pretty dead-set on a very private child birth, too, and because of that the Lindo Wing was pretty much out the window from the start.
A very high-profile hospital in Westminster with that whole royal family past at their backs, Seward relates that none of that appealed to the young couple as they are seeking a bit more discretion (below):
“It is completely understandable. The Lindo Wing has become too much of a circus.”
Not to mention, too, but the couple now live about 25 miles away from that hospital out at their Frogmore House, making a trek back into town to deliver a bit unrealistic.
Ultimately, we likely won’t know where (or when) the former Suits star gives birth until after it happens — and that’s precisely by design for this pair, who want things a little more calm and relaxed as new baby arrives.
Can’t hate on ’em for that! Totally understandable!
