Is Meghan Markle A (Rule-Breaking) Fashion Influence On Kate Middleton?

Kate Middleton may be a fashion icon, but even her fans will admit she’s gotten… a touch repetitive over the years.
But something may have changed all that — or should we say someone??
We know Meghan Markle hasn’t had the easiest time fitting in to the Royal world, and so far all we’ve heard about is how the family is changing her.

However, it could be she’s also having an impact on the family…
We’ve heard so much about the supposed feud, we haven’t been keeping a close eye on the fashion!
Some fans have noticed Kate breaking out a bit from her more conservative fashion choices and doing a bit of rule-breaking herself lately.
Is it the influence of her sister-in-law?

Last Christmas, Meghan wore a striking brown ensemble topped — sorry, bottomed — with gorgeous boots.
This past October, Kate put her own spin on the sporty look. Love those riding pants!

In September, Meghan wore a pretty usual outfit — for her — a sport jacket and flared slacks.
Then just a couple months later in December Kate went for the extra flare, as far as we can recall for the first time ever!

As you’ve likely heard, the pants are a bit controversial for Royal public appearances, so it’s not insignificant.
Speaking of controversy, Meghan’s favored neckline, the shoulder-baring Bardot was actually banned from a Royal event in June — after she wore it to Trooping the Colour, where she stood right beside Kate.
Then in October, Kate sported the sexy cut on a museum trip!
