Recently we heard a wild story from behind the palace walls…
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spilled some Royal tea in their rather candid documentary, Queen Elizabeth reportedly threatened to strip them of their titles if they were so unhappy.
We don’t know if we even believe such melodrama even occurred — though we love how juicy it is to read anyway!

But just for a moment let’s consider the possibility the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were kicked out of the Royal family. What would they do? Where could they go?
These were the questions we asked ourselves, and we came up with seven answers just off the top of our head.

Write A Tell-All
This would be OUR choice.
There’s a reason the seven figure memoir advance is the go-to golden parachute for well-known politicians and public figures leaving their careers — the seven figures part!
Without the backing of the royal family, these two will need a financial injection and this would be a great one.
Not only that, they could work on it together, from home, while looking after little Archie.
Besides the convenience for them, it would also be a hell of a read! Who wouldn’t want a behind-the-scenes at all that palace intrigue??
Go Into Politics
Meghan was forced to keep silent in her position as Duchess because of strict rules about Royals interfering in politics. But this is America, dammit, and here we’re all free to give our opinions (no matter how misinformed in many cases!).
If Meghan (who is still an American citizen btw) renounces or is stripped of her Royal duties, she will be free to run more than her mouth — she could run for president!
With a platform focused on issues she cares about like education, women’s rights, and the environment, she’d be a favorite among young voters. And we already know she’s one hell of a public speaker.
Harry will obviously never be allowed to be POTUS as he wasn’t born in this country. But as we know the title of First Lady (or First Gentleman) is open to immigrants.
Return To Acting
We’ve been focusing on what Meghan can do if she returns to the United States, but what about coming home to USA? And by that we mean the network.
Meghan got her start as a cable TV actress, and there’s nothing stopping her from picking up right where she left off. It could be a Suits spinoff or a whole new series.
Heck, she could even star in some of those Netflix or Hallmark movies about American women who marry princes!
As for Harry, his acting experience is limited to a cameo as a stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Last Jedi which was subsequently cut from the film…
But hey, he has the looks and the name recognition! People have started acting careers on less!
Sports
Is professional polo even a thing?
We know His Royal Highness looks damn good on a horse, but to be honest we have no idea how capable a player he is. Only the very best in the world actually make a living.
In all seriousness when it comes to sports, we hope if he ever left his position Harry would continue to be able to work with the Invictus Games, the organization he founded in 2014 for armed service veterans to continue to compete.
Modeling
OK, this one is as plain as the nose on Meghan’s ridiculously perfect face.
These are two of the best looking people in the world, and if they want to become the face of some high end brands we couldn’t blame them.
And not just Meghan, either!
We mean, come on, you want to tell us this doesn’t look like a Tag Heuer ad?
Porn
We mean, it’s not a serious option, but they would technically be free to do it. And don’t pretend you wouldn’t watch something called The Duke and Duchess of susSEX.
Reality TV
OK, hear us out.
Obviously the couple aren’t happy with the invasion of privacy by UK tabloids recently — but what if they could control the edit?
The producers could gin up faux drama for the family to get into, complete with confessionals and overlong reaction shots to accentuate the tension.
Heck, you already even have natural reality TV villains, like Meg’s half-sister Samantha Grant (who decided to go by Samantha Markle after the royal engagement made the name famous). She would certainly jump at the chance, right?
