Meghan Markle may have moved on from life in the UK, but she hasn’t left behind the charity work she’s passionate about.
On Wednesday, Smart Works released a motivational pep talk on Instagram given by the Duchess of Sussex to a young woman prior to her internship interview, and her advice was spot on! As you’ll recall, Meg has been working with the organization — which helps women find employment through coaching tips and by providing professional clothing — for quite some time, and it’s clear she still has a soft spot for them.

The 38-year-old’s words of wisdom included:
“You seem incredibly confident and prepared and I know everyone here is so excited. There is so much going on in the world right now and just to be such a beacon of hope and focusing on getting through it. All the positivity I just want to send your way to make sure you get on the other side of this.”
So motivational!!
A spokesperson for the organization shared with NBC News that the young woman Miz Markle had been working with was applying for an internship with Bloomberg and had not yet heard back about the status of the position.
Archie Harrison‘s momma also issued a statement to the organization’s clients:
“It’s been such an honour to meet and learn from so many talented women in the Smart Works network over the years, and recently to see the amazing work they’re doing to adapt their programs to the reality of this pandemic. Their ability to continue to empower women and help them harness the confidence they need to succeed during this time is inspiring.”
She added:
“It’s a pleasure to support them, you see how great they do and how many people they help and that’s what it’s all about. I’ve been really proud to be able to be their patron, but it’s an easy yes when you have such incredible women helping you.”
And the client who Meg chatted with also had something to say about their sit-down:
“I just wanted to say a big ‘thank you’ to you, the Duchess and the whole team at Smart Works for making this possible for women all around the UK, because to see such work is truly inspiring and uplifting. And thank you for the super useful interview tips – I will be using them for years to come!”
