Meghan Trainor was shocked by her win for Best New Artist at last night’s Grammys.
During her acceptance speech, the 22-year-old could barely find the words through her tears — but it was very obvious how excited she was!

The Like I’m Gonna Lose You singer took to Instagram after the ceremony to express her gratitude again for receiving such an honor:
This is me forever..balling my eyes out. Can’t believe what happened. My dad whispered “you made it” before I walked up and I lost it. I love my family so much. Without them I wouldn’t be here today. Even though Meghan was nominated for Grammys last year which made us scratch our heads over her “new artist” bid, we are definitely happy for her!!!
P.S. We’re not so surprised by the tears either, remember when she cried over Christmas lights?? LOL.
