Meghan Trainor is happy to spill deets about her recent engagement — if she can remember them.
On Wednesday evening, the No singer stopped by Jimmy Fallon‘s The Tonight Show and talked about her betrothal to Daryl Sabara, or as she put it, “the kid from Spy Kids“.

As we previously reported, back in December, Sabara popped the question in front of Trainor’s family while at the Living Desert Zoo & Gardens in Palm Springs. So romantic.
On the grand gesture, Meghan gushed:
“It was so cute ├óΓé¼┬ª I’m so happy! I was trying to Snapchat and he told me, ├óΓé¼╦£Can you put that away for a second.’ I lost my voice. I was screaming, ├óΓé¼╦£It’s happening, yes, it’s happening!'”
Although, the 24-year-old has jokingly admitted that she “blacked out” during the proposal. LOLz!
While Meghan was surprised by it all, the chart topper kind of knew it was coming as she and Daryl had already picked out a ring together. The Grammy winner continued:
“We picked out the ring months before, I was just waiting for him to propose… I told him if you’re going to propose, to have my family there.”
Looks like he follows instructions well. He’s certainly a keeper. Not to mention, a loved up Meghan has been VERY inspired to pen new music. She added:
“It’s for everyone. It’s a party. I’m in love so there are some love songs.”
