What is it about Sydney Sweeney that makes people LOSE. THEIR. MINDS.
There was that inexplicable Slate op-ed in which a woman argued that Sydney Sweeney’s Boobs Are Not That Big. And of course there was the incident where producer Carol Baum happily relayed to an audience at a Q&A:
“I said to my class, ‘Explain this girl to me. She’s not pretty, she can’t act. Why is she so hot?’”
Then incels decided she wasn’t that hot anymore and was totes obtainable now because she put on some weight to play a boxer. All she’s trying to do is act in great movies and terrible commercials, and everyone has to weigh in on her body all the time.
The latest victim of Sydney Derangement Syndrome? Megyn Kelly.

The former newswoman and current culture war commentator was discussing the controversial Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez wedding. Like a few others, Megyn is appalled by the opulence of the Venice festivities — though she’s mostly focused on the gathering of celebrity elites.
Fair enough. We never hear her complain about Mar-A-Lago or the unqualified billionaire elites being handed top government jobs, but fair enough. Honestly just hilarious that she and Rosie O’Donnell seem to agree on something.
The thing is, though, Megyn somehow made it about… Sydney’s boobs! Referring to the Euphoria star’s presence, she jabbed:
“Sydney Sweeney’s the new toast of the town out there because she’s got these enormous breasts that everybody’s obsessed with. How does she wind up there?”
Sorry, is… Is Megyn Kelly saying it was actually Sydney Sweeney’s boobs that were invited to the extravagant ceremony? And the actress was their plus-one?? WTF is she talking about?!
She went on to bash the bride for inviting celebs she didn’t even know:
“If you told me it was like Lauren Sánchez’s colleagues from the first news station she worked at, sure, that’s normal. That’s what a true friend would do, invite their lifelong friends.”
We get the criticism, that this is less a celebration of love and more an excuse to throw a star-studded party. But why does it have to be about boobs, Megyn?? Seems like a good time to bring this one out of retirement…
BTW, a sources told Page Six the reason Sydney was there isn’t because Lauren is her friend. It’s because Jeff is her BOSS! Her next big blockbuster — an adaptation of the hit genre-bending video game Split Fiction — is set up at Amazon MGM Studios. So she wasn’t there as a friend. She was putting in face time, cultivating a relationship with a studio head. As the insider put it, she was there “to pay respects to the ‘boss,’ just like in the old days of Hollywood.”
Because of her career. Not her cans. Have some respect.
