Melanie Griffith is absolutely fearless!
In a new interview with Porter magazine out Friday, the Working Girl star opens up about all those things no one ever talks about — her divorces, her addiction, and most shockingly her plastic surgery.

On the latter, Melanie says she never even knew anyone else could tell — until she started seeing some very harsh headlines that got her rethinking it all.
She admits:
“No, I didn’t [realize] until people started saying. ├óΓé¼╦£Oh my god, what has she done?!’ I was so hurt I went to a different doctor and he started dissolving all of this shit that this other woman doctor had put in. Hopefully, I look more normal now.”
We think she looks amazing. But “normal” has never been a part of the star’s life. The daughter of film legend Tippi Hedren briefly married Miami Vice star Don Johnson at just 18 years old.
Years later, after an addiction problem landed her in rehab, she and Don got back together for five years, during which time they had a daughter, future 50 Shades Of Grey star Dakota Johnson.
“Don was actually waiting for me when I got out of rehab. We got back together; it was the most natural, perfect, loving thing. Then it just sort of wasn’t working. I think it’s hard when you are both in the public eye, unless one of you gives up work.”
Classic tale of the Hollywood marriage. Too bad.

Melanie wants everyone to know she may have had an issue with alcohol addiction, but she was never a bad mother:
“I was a totally functioning mom. I wasn’t like a drunk-on-the-floor, out-of-it person. I didn’t do some things I probably should have done but, mostly, I was there for my kids. They had a sort of privileged gypsy life.”
Melanie has three kids in total — Alexander Bauer from her marriage to Steven Bauer, Dakota, and Stella Banderas from her marriage to Antonio Banderas.
That last one we truly thought would last forever. The couple were married in 1996 and seemed inseparable until their surprise split in 2014.

Melanie has an explanation for that as well:
“I think part of the reason my marriage to Antonio fell apart was because I was stuck; nobody else is to blame. It’s just that I personally got stuck and I won’t let that happen again, I want to enjoy life, I want to do whatever I want to do.”
Stuck? Hmm.
We take it she’s ready to get out there again?
“I’m shy with men now, very reticent ├óΓé¼┬ª nobody has asked me on a date [for almost two years].”
Wow!
