We are so excited about a live action Tinker Bell movie! But this is some casting we didn’t see coming!
Comedy genius Melissa McCarthy will be putting on the wings as the famous fairy!

Melissa and director Shawn Levy developed a brand new take on the classic children’s lit character, said to be a comedic adventure.
We’re not sure exactly what that means, but we’re guessing this falls more into the spoof category than Disney canon. We’re guessing some purists won’t like that — but we’d say to them not to knock it before they try it.
Still, Melissa as Tinker Bell? Could be some strong chances of hilarity ensuing!
No wonder she’s lost so much weight! Now the question is, how is she going to shed all that height? LOLz!
