Melissa Rivers Holds Intimate Gathering To Honor Her Mother & Does It In An Incredibly Touching Way!

Like mother, like daughter!
After the incredible funeral for Joan Rivers in New York City the other day, Melissa Rivers hosted an intimate gathering of their close friends!
In the small get-together between her close friends, Melissa decided to stay true to what her mother always did.
She lit candles and organized flower arrangements in the same style that her mother once did, which made it feel as if Joan was going to waltz into the room at any moment.
A source said:

‘The house was ablaze. It was like Joan was going to come down the stairs. Melissa presented it just like Joan had done. It will probably be the last time we see the house that way.’

Awwww! What a way to honor her mother!
We bet she’s probably happy too that Joan got a proper memorial from Broadway when they dimmed their lights last night.
Let’s hope Melissa continues to grieve now and can stay strong through these tough times.
