Oh the shade!!
On Tuesday, Melissa Rivers sat down with Hoda Kotb at the 92nd Street Y to discuss her book The Book of Joan: Tales of Mirth, Mischief, and Manipulation — and it seems she had a lot to say about Kathy Griffin!

When asked about her mom Joan Rivers‘ replacement on Fashion Police, Melissa had no problem pulling out the shade.
She shared:
“My biggest complaint was the feeling that she kind of shit all over my mother’s legacy in her statement on leaving.”
Whoa! Tell us how you really feel, Melissa!
She continued:
“And I know that was not an intentional reading of it, but that’s how I felt ├óΓé¼┬ª By calling the comedy and the style of it old-fashioned. It was like, I understand what you were doing, you’re trying to save yourself, but don’t crap all over my mother to do it.”
Very inneresting!
The comedienne left Fashion Police after only 7 episodes!
The funny lady has yet to respond to Melissa’s shade — but she did take to Twitter to share an old interview about her handling of angry celebs!

Of course, that’s not the only scandal the show has met since Joan’s passing.
The popular E! show received backlash when Giuliana Rancic made offensive racial comments about Zendaya‘s dreadlocks at the Oscars — causing Kelly Osbourne to quit.
Apparently, this troubling time allowed Mel to hear her mom’s voice! What the what?!
She claimed her mother told her:
“[It’s] ‘going to be OK’ during all the ├óΓé¼╦£Fashion Police‘ crazy ├óΓé¼┬ª I heard her say other things too but I can’t repeat them.”
If you can talk to your mother — what did she think about this year’s Met Gala?! WE KID!
