Melissa Says The Breakup Was Mutual, But Tammy Disagrees!

There are two sides to every story!

Melissa Etheridge told Oprah earlier this week that her breakup with wife, Tammy Lynn Michaels, was “as mutual as those things can be.” However, Tammy has posted something much differently on her blog, mentioning that she was “blindsided.”

Tammy, who occasionally writes under the pseudonym, Hollywood Farm Girl, wrote in her blog on Friday:

this will be the only place
where you will get the truth
Hollywood Farm Girl
is the only one
who gets
it right
who won’t spin
won’t lie
won’t act like there was
drifting
and that’s all.

This was after writing another entry in February that said:

i am missing a piece of me
that is so large
the absence of which
makes me cripple…

i walk around
half of what i used to be
maybe less
blinded
blindsided
one side blind
one eye blind
i can see very little beyond
the half of me bleeding
the inside of me
pouring outside

So sad!

We hope these two can see eye-to-eye for the children’s sake!
