On Friday, the Shahs of Sunset star announced on Instagram that her father, Shams Javid, has passed away.

The Bravo personality wrote on social media:
“It is with great regret that I share the news of my sweet father’s passing. Although this is something extremely personal for me and it’s taken some time to process, those of you who have followed my journey know how much I love my father. I am comforted knowing he is in a better place now. I am so thankful for my mom, [husband] Tommy [Feight], my family and friends, who have been incredibly supportive through this greatest loss. #MyEndlessLove”
Vanderpump Rules‘ Kristen Doute and Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Dina Manzo expressed their condolences online.
Co-star Mike Shouhed wrote in the comments section:
“He was a great man, who’s legacy will live on forever! I’m sorry for your loss. You may have lost your father, but you gained an angel! I love you! Here for you. As I promised your dad before he left us, I will always have your back babe. My sister!”
