What the punk?! Rooney Mara isn’t wearing black!
We can hardly believe our eyes!
The actress and co-chair along with Riccardo Tisci predictably wore Givenchy to the Met Gala, but her ruffled, lacy gown screams more bridal than punk.
Maybe if she’d taken a pocket knife and slashed it up a little, it’d be more hardcore.
As it stands now, it just makes us think of lace doilies.
Rooney’s severely pulled back hairdo and purple lips had a punky vibe, but since she always has that same hair and makeup look, we’re not sure if it was part of the theme or not.
Not loving it!
