Michael Bublé Makes First Public Appearance Since His Son's Cancer Diagnosis

Michael Buble accepts his award with a beautiful speech!
Ever since Michael Bubl├â┬⌐‘s son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in November, the singer has been noticeably absent from the spotlight in order to be there with his family during this difficult time.
On Wednesday though, Bublé made his first public appearance since making the heartbreaking announcement in order to accept the National Arts Centre Award in Ottawa, given to him by the Governor General of Canada.

He was actually supposed to receive the award last year, but had to miss the event due to a family commitment.
In his speech, Michael paid tribute to his wife, Luisana Lopilato, their sons, Noah and Elias, along with more loved ones:

“There are no words to describe how I feel about you. Sometimes, ├óΓé¼╦£I love you’ just isn’t enough because what I feel is just so much more.”

And the 41-year-old finished by sharing:

“I stand here truly humbled that I have been allowed to be one of your musical representatives and that you would choose to bestow this honor upon me during what has been an emotionally difficult time for my family. I thank you for the love and support that you’ve given me and for the pride I’m filled with every single time I’m able to stand on a stage and say, ├óΓé¼╦£My name is Michael Steven Bubl├â┬⌐ and I am Canadian.'”

Awww! So well-said and so beautiful!
Also awarded on Wednesday were Michael J. Fox and Martin Short, and you can watch the full ceremony (below)… or if you’d like to skip to Michael’s moment, fast forward to the 48:42 mark:
