Michael Jackson's Estate Wants His Insurance Money! NOW!

Michael Jackon's family money

The Michael Jackon estate has been waiting for $17.5 million worth insurance money from Lloyds of London since he passed away, but have had finally enough and are taking the company to court.

The company agreed to cover the King of Pop’s This Is It tour for losses in the event of his death, but earlier this year they asked the courts to declare the police null and void because they claim MJ lied about his medical history and drug use.

They also point out the policy “was restricted to losses resulting from accident only” and apparently don’t consider his official cause of death — homicide — an accident.

His estate has fired back that Michael never intended to die, whether by homicide or not, so his death still qualifies as an accident.

We think that’s pretty good logic! We think this is just another example of why insurance companies need to be kept in careful check.

If the Jackson estate’s lawsuit is successful, they will get the $17.5 million PLUS unspecified punitive damages! Sounds pricey to us!

Do U think the insurance company still owes MJ’s estate the money?
