Looks like Michele is NOT ready to let this Late Night incident go!
To recap, Michele Bachmann appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Monday night, and house band The Roots played the song Lyin’ As* B*tch as her intro music. (above)
Then earlier today, we heard that Jimmy apologized to Michele via Twitter…but it seems that she’s still not satisfied because she wants a formal apology from NBC!
Here’s what she had to say about it:
“If that song had been played for Michelle Obama, I have no doubt that NBC would have apologized to her and likely they would have fired the drummer, or at least suspended him.”
And here’s Michele on where she places the blame for the incident:
“…Bias on the part of the Hollywood elite and sexism as well.”
We’re not 100% sure if we agree, but we can certainly see why she’s upset and looking for someone/something to blame!
