Mick Jagger Sets Up Scholarship Fund In The Late L'Wren Scott's Name

Mick Jagger makes a scholarship fund for L'Wren Scott.
L’Wren Scott
tragically took her own life in early 2014, but the designer won’t soon be forgotten.
Her loved ones continue to honor and remember her, and former partner Mick Jagger has just announced a three-year scholarship in L’Wren’s name to be awarded to Central Saint Martins MA in London for fashion students.

The scholarship program will begin in October 2015 and will be cover the cost of a two-year course as well as living expenses for one student each year.
L’Wren was very close friends with Louise Wilson, the former director of the fashion course, who also passed away last year, and though L’Wren herself never attended the school, she was fond of it.
Upon accepting the generous scholarship gift, the current director of the fashion course said:

“I am very grateful to receive this extremely generous scholarship package, gifted by Mick Jagger in L’Wren Scott’s name. Our students sacrifice much to take up this course and work extremely hard when they are here. I am proud of the fact that this course ├óΓé¼┬ª continues to be recognized as a major contributor to the future of the global fashion industry.”

This is such a beautiful way for Mick to honor his late partner. We imagine L’Wren would be very proud.
