If you’re not on board for this, the summer of John Paul Jones, then what are you even doing?!
Part down-home southern good ol’ boy and part beach-body hunk with long, flowing locks, JPJ’s low-key personality and easy-going ways have taken Bachelor Nation by storm, first on Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette this spring, and now over his summer run on Bachelor in Paradise.

In fact, JPJ has proven to be so popular now that even major celebs are impersonating him! That’s when you know you’v really made it, y’all!!!
First, some quick backstory: on Tuesday night’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise, JPJ and fellow contestant Derek Peth got into a heated argument after our hunky hero saw Peth grow closer to his love interest, Tayshia Adams.
Regrettably, the confrontation went down in the middle of Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson‘s wedding, in front of the couple’s friends and family, a handful of the show’s other stars, as well as Chris Harrison himself. It made for great TV, though!
And in the most memorable moment from the blow-up, as JPJ was accusing Peth about his intentions with Tayshia, the blond good ol’ boy dropped a hell of a quote that’ll go down in Bachelor Nation history (below):
“Name one thing that I said that’s false, Derek! Don’t insult my intelligence, Derek!”
Iconic!!! And he went off the deep end from there!!

And the surfer dude’s stunning challenge to Peth was such a memorable line, Bachelor Nation super fans Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher couldn’t help but recreate it the next day — though they struggled to stay in character, they were laughing so much!
As you can see (below), Mila’s impression of JPJ is absolutely hilarious!!!

Oh, and don’t even try to lie about this one, BiP super fans… you definitely did the same thing after you watched the argument, didn’t you?! Ha!!!
