You can take the girl out of the nudist colony, but sometimes you can’t take the nudist colony out of the girl!
If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Miley Cyrus after watching her VMA and iHeartRadio performances, it’s that she rarely wears more clothing than is absolutely required by law!
On stage with Robin Thicke she blurred lines with nude undies, in Sin City she basically just wore pasties and a dolphin-safe tuna net!
As it turns out, though — this is the girl MileyBird has always been at heart.
In her watershed Rolling Stone interview, the We Can’t Stop singer admitted she usually prefers to live life clothes free. She revealed:
“I’m still kind of a semi-nudist, because I never had clothes on.”
Whoa! But where did it all come from?
When on tour with her dad Billy Ray, she would sometimes be left in charge of collecting the bras fangirls threw at the country star!!
Miley admitted:
“I’d get a really big one and be like, ‘Dad! I found your biggest fan!'”
Apparently she even got paid ten bucks per boulder holder, too!
Wowzers! What a weird first job!
At least now we’re learning the origin story for this Bangerz-era Miley we’ve all come to love!
