The news just keeps getting worse for Mindy McCready!
According to a source, the country singer has been drinking way too much since her boyfriend David Wilson‘s apparent suicide– and her family has said enough! The source says:
“Family members sought to have Mindy committed to a mental-health facility and there was an emergency hearing today.
They just got out of court a little while ago and the judge committed her for up to 21 days.”
Three weeks is a long time for a mom! What about Zander and Zayne??
According to Mindy’s attorney Eric Hughes, they have been removed from her care by the Department of Human Services. He says:
“It was reported to me by DHS that they took custody of the kids this afternoon. They are in DHS custody at this point.”
Oh no! It sounds like Mindy’s mourning period has overshadowed her children, and that’s something a mother just can’t let happen!
It’s not pleasant, but if rehab is what Mindy has to do to get sober, we’re glad she’s getting the help she needs.
