Mindy McCready’s Last Days Involved Substance Abuse & Deep Despair

More and more information is coming out about Mindy McCready’s suicide and what led to it.
And now, details about her final days are being revealed, and it was a sad, dark time for the country singer.
After her boyfriend, David Wilson, died due to unknown reasons, and she lost custody of her two children and was institutionalized, Mindy slipped into a bad place that involved the substance abuse she struggled with for years.
Her father, Tim, recently revealed how Mindy coped poorly with the loss of her boyfriend as he said:

“[Mindy was] not bathing or even helping take care of her two children.”

He also added that she remained in bed for three weeks while mixing alcohol and prescription pills after the loss.
Mindy ended up killing herself with a gun in the same spot where David also died. She also killed her dog before killing herself.
We hope she now has the peace she couldn’t find.
And we hope her family and friends find peace with the loss.
