These two cowboys (and one cowgirl) are throwing down!
As we reported, Garth Brooks told People he lip-synced his performance at the 2017 CMA Awards because his “voice just isn’t there anymore, and you want to represent country music as best you can.”
Ironically, the 55-year-old was crowded Entertainer of the Year that night.

However, some people in the music industry are pissed off with Brooks’ vocals (or lack thereof).
On Thursday, Anderson East took to Twitter to express his disappointment, and believes Garth’s decision to not sing live was both offensive and dishonest.
He wrote:
I keep a lot of my opinions to myself and respect anyone making music but as a person who tries to put on the best and most honest show I can night after night… this truly offends me. I was told country music is three chords and the truth. https://t.co/jucvh4xmpy

Agreeing with his point, girlfriend Miranda Lambert wrote in the comments section:
“High five on this babe. If you can’t sing then don’t. It’s better to be honest than to pretend. I think it’s bullshit. My favorite performances were live live. The truth.”
Who knew there was so much drama in the country world?? Oh yeah, we did.
