What an incredible performance!
On Tuesday night, CBS aired The Kennedy Center Honors — which recognizes important people in the performing arts for their contributions during their lifetime — and it was AH-Mazing as expected.
The night was hosted by Stephen Colbert, and this year’s incredible honorees were Carole King, George Lucas, Rita Moreno, Seiji Ozawa, and Cicely Tyson.

However, there was a hiccup in this year’s honors as the legendary rock band the Eagles were also supposed to be honored, but due to Glenn Frey‘s “health complications”, the band opted to wait until next year.
Luckily for us, the show decided to give the band some recognition this year anyway and had Miranda Lambert perform a beautiful cover of their hit ballad Desperado.
