New York is having the best month EVER!
In addition to an AH-mazing fashion week, the Empire State’s Kira Kazantsev just won Miss America 2015!
Kira, a 23-year-old blonde beauty, wowed the judges with her musical rendition of Happy and her thoughtful answer for the Q&A segment.
Kazanstsev is the third consecutive NY native to win the coveted title which makes her victory even more special.
The runners-up to Miss New York were: Miss Massachusetts Lauren Kahn, Miss Florida Victoria Cowen, Miss Arkansas Ashton Campbell, and, in second place, Miss Virginia Courtney Garrett.
Congratulations to Kira and all the other ladies that competed in the competition!
