Missoni CEO's Luggage Found On Small Caribbean Island

Missing Missoni CEO Vittorio Missonis bags found in Bonaire
It’s been over a month since Missoni CEO Vittorio Missoni, his wife, and four others disappeared during a flight to Caracas, Venezuela, and there’s still no good news to report.
Authorities in Bonaire, a small Caribbean island, stated on Thursday that a local newspaper reporter discovered two pieces of luggage washed up on the beach earlier this week.
Though police refused to say exactly who the bags belonged to, Claudio Verna, a friend of the Missoni family, confirmed the bags were indeed those of the missing CEO.
Verna also said the CEO’s family and friends are still hopeful that while the bags may have fallen into the ocean, the plane did not, saying:

“You cannot exclude that someone could launch bags in the sea. We are not in the condition now to exclude any other option.”

Verna has plans to fly to Venezuela to launch a search by boat. Meanwhile, the bags will be sent to authorities in Venezuela for investigation.
Hopefully we will hear some sort of good news about this sad situation soon.
