Ever since the official end of Prop 8 and DOMA, a slew of celeb couples have announced their impending nuptials!
But it may also be time for the fictional couples to join in!
Modern Family co-creator Christopher Lloyd says that the Supreme Court’s supremely wise decision has changed things for Cam and Mitchell! He says:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós a real possibility. It├óΓé¼Γäós certainly something we are contemplating on the show in ways we wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót have in prior seasons.”
So are they or aren’t they? We have to know!! Not that we’re obsessed or anything. We’re just asking for Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Now spill! He says:
“We├óΓé¼Γäóve had a number of conversations. As you can imagine in Cam and Mitchell├óΓé¼Γäós life, they would be feeling that a door has opened that was closed to them. Wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót it be pretty tempting to think about walking through it? We imagine a lot of gay couples today are deciding whether to get married now that it├óΓé¼Γäós open to them. From our standpoint, that├óΓé¼Γäós something to explore.”
We didn’t even think about how this monumental decision would affect our favorite TV shows! We guess the whole world is changing- even the land of television!
