The Project Runway dramz never ends!!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the production duo who’ve been attached to the show from the beginning, Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz , are opting NOT to follow Project Runway to Lifetime.

Ohhh shiz!!!!

The duo have just signed an exclusive overall first-look deal with NBC Universal, Bravo’s parent company, to produce new broadcast, cable and digital properties. As part of the deal, the two will finish producing the current fifth cycle of Project Runway for Bravo, but will leave the show rather than produce a sixth cycle at Lifetime.

Sadness!

NBC insiders cite the long-standing relationship between the show’s producers and NBC as key to the deal. The two also produce Bravo’s Top Chef, Step It Up and Dance and Top Design AS WELL AS NBC’s Last Comic Standing.

We wouldn’t leave a cash cow either!

NBC Universal also announced Monday it has filed a request for a preliminary injunction to prevent the Weinstein Co. from marketing and promoting the show on Lifetime.

We’re just hoping that all this crazy drama won’t fuck the show up for you fans out there!
