Mormon Wives Producers Forced Taylor Frankie Paul Into Treatment In 2025 After Alleged DV Incident With Dakota Mortensen: REPORT

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

New details have emerged in the ongoing Taylor Frankie Paul drama.

As we’ve been following, the MomTok star’s world recently came crashing down after she reportedly had a blowout fight with ex Dakota Mortensen while filming season 5 of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The confrontation was apparently nasty enough to force a pause on the show’s production, and since then, it’s just been a whole series of unfortunate events… TMZ reported the Utah Division of Child and Family Services stepped in after a series of child abuse allegations were made by Dakota, leading to psych evals being ordered for the pair.

Taylor vehemently denied said allegations, but when footage emerged of her viciously attacking Dakota in 2023 — the incident for which she was arrested — ABC made the decision to pull the plug on her season of The Bachelorette just days before it was set to air.

We now know that Taylor is officially under investigation for a THIRD domestic violence incident. A spokesperson told NBC News this week that Dakota, who currently has temporary custody of their son and a temporary protective order, contacted the West Jordan Police Department in Utah with reports of domestic violence stemming from a 2024 incident with Taylor.

But what we didn’t know is that Mormon Wives producers actually stepped in early in 2025 because of alleged issues between Taylor and Dakota! On Saturday, The US Sun reported that because of an apparent altercation ahead of filming on season 3 of the Hulu reality show last year, execs forced Taylor to go on a mental health “retreat” after Dakota raised flags. An insider told the outlet:

“Dakota pretty much said, ‘We’ve got to do something about this or we’re not going to film.’”

According to the source, when Taylor returned from the retreat, she acted as if nothing happened, and filming on season 3 of Mormon Wives commenced.

As of now, it’s not clear if the specific incident Taylor was sent on a retreat for is the same 2024 incident she’s now being investigated for, but it marks another troubling revelation for the reality star.
