The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast wants nothing to do with Taylor Frankie Paul right now.
The reality star’s life has been thrust into hot water this week after reports surfaced that the Hulu show was forced to shut down production after a fight between Taylor and her ex Dakota Mortensen broke out. And it’s really bad, y’all.
It has since emerged that the co-parents had an alleged domestic dispute. Sources for both parties have been going back and forth about what happened and whose to blame, but one thing is for sure: it’s serious. Police were called and the Utah Division of Child and Family Services is involved.

Some reports have suggested the show will continue filming its fifth season soon. But that may be harder than it sounds to accomplish!
For one, TMZ first claimed that one reason the show had to pause was because Dakota disappeared for several weeks. He’s a big part of the storyline, so the crew was hesitant to film without him. It’s unclear where things stand on that right now and if they’d move forward without him if they had to. But even if they figure that out, the rest of the cast is hesitant to return in the current state!
A source told Us Weekly on Monday that the social media stars are “terrified” to work with Taylor right now! Jeez. The confidant detailed:
“The Mormon Wives cast [is] honestly terrified to film with Taylor right now.”
While production is “shut down” for the moment, the #MomTok stars hope it stays that way for longer:
“The women have made it clear they don’t want to be around her because they see her as a major liability.”
Yikes.
It’s all especially devastating because prior to this incident, the cast “believed Taylor was in a better place” after she filmed the upcoming season of The Bachelorette. They also all felt their reality show “was heading in a different direction.” The insider explained:
“Now, many of them feel they’ve moved past the point of dealing with this kind of behavior and simply don’t want to be put in that position again.”
Similarly, a source previously told People that the girls “were just getting tired of Taylor” and the constant drama. Oof.
It sounds like they all need a little space from the chaos! And we can’t blame them for distancing themselves. The allegations we’ve heard so far are intense. And anyone whose watched the show knows how much of an emotional rollercoaster they’ve all been on with Taylor and Dakota. It’s gotta be heartbreaking to see things play out like this.
