OMG!! New details have emerged about the alleged altercation between Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen.
News broke on Sunday that production for Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives abruptly stopped due to an explosive fight Taylor and Dakota got into during filming three weeks ago. Authorities are involved, and both have been ordered to undergo psych evaluations. What reportedly happened? We heard the former couple allegedly got into a heated argument in Dakota’s car, and things escalated when a drink spilled on him and the seat. Sources close to Taylor claimed he then got physical with her. However, Dakota has a completely different version of events!

Sources close to the production of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives claimed to TMZ on Monday night that Dakota and Taylor were hanging out at his place when they began fighting about his romantic history, specifically his hookup with her friend Shinia Powell. Remember, Taylor went off online when she found out “the snake,” AKA Shinia, secretly started sleeping with Dakota behind her back last year. We then saw her blow up over the incident, along with learning that he also tried to hook up with Jenna Jarvis, whom he had cheated on Taylor with in the past, again during Season 4 of Mormon Wives. We know! It’s a mess!
And it gets way worse!
According to TMZ, the argument got physical as Taylor, who was previously arrested for domestic violence, allegedly choked Dakota. Sources claimed she also ripped his necklace off and grabbed his throat and face — all while their almost 2-year-old son, Ever, was in the room. OMG. An insider alleges Dakota called the police that night, but Taylor convinced him to change the story and tell the cops everything was OK. She then reportedly apologized and returned to Dakota’s home the following night.
The fighting didn’t stop, though. Taylor allegedly scratched Dakota’s neck during the second altercation and threw his phone against a wall. When his friend saw Dakota’s neck the next day, TMZ reports that he called the police. Responding officers interviewed him, and they reportedly saw proof of his injuries.
Additionally, we previously heard that the Utah Division of Child and Family Services is involved after Dakota called the agency multiple times, claiming Taylor was physically abusive to their son. However, as we mentioned, Taylor denies the allegations. She also tells a different story, alleging he was the primary aggressor during the car ride incident.
