The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul is not that sorry about her swinging past!
The social media personality started the massive scandal in the #MomTok community on TikTok back in 2022 when she revealed she and a group of other Mormon mommas participated in “soft swinging.” All of them essentially would hook up with each other’s spouses, supposedly doing everything but penetrative sex. That was strictly forbidden in the group!
However, the whole arrangement blew up when Taylor broke the rules. She developed feelings for and slept with one of the husbands involved in the swinging parties! Yikes! As you can imagine, things got very complicated and messy fast. The scandal ruined friendships and marriages — including Taylor’s.

She was married to Tate Paul at the time, and they shared two kids, Indy and Ocean. However, her now ex-husband asked for a divorce when she cheated — aka hard swinging — with another hubby from the community! Oof. You would think blowing up not only your own life but the lives of others — those you even once called friends — would make you feel a ton of guilt on the inside. Taylor, though? Well, if you expected her to be 100% remorseful for her actions two years later, you would be mistaken!
In an interview with E! News on Thursday, Taylor shared what she regretted most about the massive controversy, saying:
“I wish I would have done things differently. Going back to my marriage, I wish I wouldn’t have hurt my ex.”
From that, it seems like she feels bad about the whole scandal, right? We mean, getting into swinging was what hurt your ex!
However, what she said next makes it clear she is not entirely ashamed about what happened! Not when she got all this clout and made all this bank from it! While Taylor hates the pain she caused to her ex, she also pointed out she wouldn’t be where she is today. You know, she wouldn’t have millions of followers, a new show, brand deals, and more. She noted:
“I feel like we’re here today because of it, and I’m the person that I am today because of it.”
Yeah… It definitely sounds like she doesn’t regret the scandal too much! No matter who she hurt at the end of the day! Sorry, Tate! Hey, at least she’s being honest about that, right? Assuming this Hulu show is a big hit — and it looks like it will be — the scandal will end up being what made her career! And some things are just more important than… er, marriage and family?
