This breaks our hearts.
Just days after James Holmes was found guilty of murdering 12 people at a screening of The Dark Knight in Colorado in 2012, there has been yet another movie theater shooting.
During a screening of Trainwreck in Lafayete, Louisiana on Thursday night, a 58-year-old white male reportedly opened fire on theater goers, killing two and injuring seven.
Col. Michael Edmonson says that the Louisiana State Police are withholding the shooter’s identity at this time, and are unable to pin point a motive.
The elderly man additionally shot himself and is dead.
Amy Schumer is the writer and star of Trainwreck, and she tweeted her support to the people of Louisiana after hearing the news, saying:
My heart is broken and all my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana.

We’ll update you with more information as the story unfolds.
Our thoughts are with the friends and families of the victims at this time.
