National Review Editor Defending JD Vance Accidentally Calls Haitians N-Word On Megyn Kelly Show!

Uhhh, WTF did we just watch?!

We wouldn’t expect you to know the name Rich Lowry — but we expect you may after this week! Rich is the editor-in-chief of conservative editorial magazine National Review, maybe the biggest avowed right-wing magazine around. A major conservative voice.

During Sunday’s episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, Rich was on as a guest to speak out on the unfounded migrants-eating-pets narrative and JD Vance admitting to making it up. The point was to defend Vance and argue that it absolutely isn’t racist. However, the whole thing backfired when Rich — describing Haitian immigrants — accidentally slipped and called them the N-word! Yes, really!

He definitely just dropped the N-word, right?? Well, despite the literal video evidence, he’s claiming he didn’t!

Responding to a post on X (Twitter) of someone defending him by saying he crossed “immigrants” and “migrants” and THAT’S why it sounded like he dropped the slur, he wrote:

“Yep, this is exactly what happened — I began to mispronounce the word ‘migrants’ and caught myself halfway through”

Look, we listened to this a LOT of times. We do NOT hear “miggrants” or whatever he says he’s saying. We’re hearing the N-word. Every time.

So yeah, critics aren’t sold on his explanation — they heard what they heard! In his replies, users wrote things like:

“You do realize we all heard it, right?”

“migrants doesn’t start with an N”

“I was born at night but not last night”

“we all heard you pretty clearly.”

“Not only a bigot, but a coward as well. How predictable.”

“Absolutely nobody believes you. You’re vile and a racist.”

CRAZY!

Just to point out real quick… The entire premise of suggesting Haitians are eating locals’ pets is racist as hell. And considering the violence and chaos it’s inspired in Springfield already it may be worse than dropping the N-bomb on TV. Not to mention, these are legal immigrants Trump and Vance are proudly talking about deporting en masse. They try so hard to keep the why quiet… but every now and again the mask slips. And you get something like this.
