NBC Has Monopoly On Bon Jovi!

NBC is known for snatching up talent, but it’s too bad they couldn’t get anyone we care about!!
In order to promote his new album The Circle, which is due out November 10th, Jon Bon Jovi will only appear on TV shows owned by NBC Universal – dubbing him their “artist in residence!”
“Of course you usually try to be out there everywhere, when a new album is coming out,” said Bon Jovi. “So we have to sacrifice certain shows and relationships. We hope this doesn’t jeopardize any of them. But in a shrinking media environment, you have to kind of reinvent the wheel.”
And he knows because we’re pretty sure Bon Jovi was around when they first invented the wheel!
His appearances will include the Today show, The Tonight Show, The Jay Leno Show, Saturday Night Live, and Inside the Actors Studio!
So, that’s how they get completely irrelevant people on the Actors Studio! It’s their only option!
Although, they have no shame in pimping him out. He’ll even appear on the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams on a segment entitled Making a Difference highlighting his philanthropic work.
NBC has hinted that the artist in residence concept is here to stay, but if they keep getting guest of this caliber, they can keep ’em!
