NBC Launches A Cappella Singing Competition!

This explains why NBC booted Glee from the Thanksgiving Day Parade!
They’ve got their own show to promote!
The Sing-Off, the network’s new a capella singing series will give competing groups a chance to win a recording contract with Epic Records/Sony Entertainment.
And unless you’re ambushed by the art at any run of the mill Ivy League college, you may wonder what all the fuss is about! A capella has been on the rise in recent years and the basis for top musical acts from Motown to Boyz to Men.
So it’s dated, but at least we know they’ve got talent!
