Neil Patrick Harris will be returning to Broadway! And his Great White Way homecoming is happening next spring in one of our FAVORITE shows of all time – Hedwig and the Angry Inch!!!
If his latest stint as the Tonys host taught us anything, it’s that this man BELONGS on the stage!
In case you don’t know, Hedwig and the Angry Inch is about a transgender rock star and first premiered off-Broadway in 1998. John Cameron Mitchell who wrote the book and starred in the original production gave NPH his blessing today, saying:
├óΓé¼┼ôWho better to pass the wig to but the finest entertainer of his generation?”
We couldn’t agree more! We might have to live in New York for the duration of this show’s run! And our fingers are already crossed that Neil will start WINNING Tony’s in addition to hosting them!
