NeNe Leakes Hires New Attorney & Teases Making 'Some Noise'

Is there a lawsuit brewing in Atlanta?

NeNe Leakes is lawyering up and ready to fight! Following rumors that the Real Housewives of Atlanta mainstay would be exiting the Bravo series, she has “gathered info along the way” and is “gonna make some noise.”

On Thursday, the 52-year-old shared a pic of attorney Lisa Bloom, and wrote:

“Happy i now have @lisabloomesq on my team! I’ve stay quiet a long time and gathered info along the way. Now I’m gonna make some noise #waitforit #unfair in confidence go [email protected]”

For those not familiar with Bloom, she had previously advised Harvey Weinstein amid sexual abuse allegations, but also represented multiple women who filed claims of sexual assault against Donald Trump and Bill O’Reilly.

Following Leakes’ post about the 58-year-old, Lisa spoke with RadarOnline.com regarding her present situation:

“Yes, I have spoken to Nene Leakes about her situation. I’m so pleased she reached out to me. While our conversation is confidential, I encourage everyone to stand up for their rights!”

Though lawyer-client confidentiality applies, a source did divulge some info to the outlet regarding the Atlanta OG:

“NeNe has expressed her unhappiness with how positively Kenya [Moore] is being portrayed on the show. NeNe feels like she is getting a bad edit and is being intentionally cut out of episodes.”

If you’re not up to speed on what’s been going down with Miz Leakes, here’s your refresher course. On January 21, her pal Wendy Williams shared during an episode of the Wendy Williams Show:

“I took a break in between commercials … my office is right there behind the set. I had to go to the bathroom and so I looked at my phone in between commercials. And NeNe texts, ‘I’m quitting.'”

The 55-year-old additionally suggested there’s a “secret” which NeNe has been keeping from fans:

“I know something about NeNe that you all will cry, be sad and feel bad for her. She’s carrying the weight of a huge thing on her shoulders.”

Through tears, the daytime TV host continued:

“I’m not going to say it, she’s got to say it. But in my opinion, NeNe, you need this platform to explain the other part of your life. Forget hairpieces and arguing with them broads — you’ve got that secret, and that secret is going to melt their hearts. Because when she shared it with me, I cried with her.”

The same day, the mother of two shared a photo (see it HERE) of herself looking surprised at a phone along with the caption: “WHO SAID DAT!?!?! #SMH.” A rep for the Bravolebrity responded to Williams’ statement and said:

“It’s been an especially difficult couple of weeks for NeNe, and she was venting to her friend in private correspondence. Nothing has been confirmed or officially decided for next season.”
