We told you ast night about actress Natasha Richardson’s “traumatic brain injury” after a skiing injury in Canada on Monday.
Now, new details have come out about the skiing accident which landed Liam Neeson‘s wife in a Canadian ICU!
Richardson took a tumble at the bottom of the beginners’ run during a skiing lesson at a resort near Montreal, but the actress was unfortunately not wearing a ski helmet at the time of her injury!
The Mont Tremblant ski resort has reported that Natasha had “no external sign of injury, no cut or bleeding” and was “laughing and joking and she walked to her room on her own” after her spill.
It wasn’t until the actress later began to complain of a headache that the severity of her injury became apparent.
Richardson was rushed to the nearby Centre Hospitalier Laurentien, and she was later transfered to the intensive care unit at the Sacré Coeur Hospital in Montreal.
Natasha’s entire family is said to be “very distressed” and husband Neeson immediately left the set of his new movie to join their children by his wife’s bedside.
