A new treatment may eliminate pills and increase results!
The testing is far from complete, but recent research shows that high blood pressure could be successfully treated by blasting the kidneys with a radio beam, which could help roughly one-third of U.S. adults suffering from the condition.
In the study, a catheter was used to transmit radio waves to the nerves in the kidney and the patients blood pressure dropped to an average of 146/84 from 178/96.
This is great news for anyone suffering from high blood pressure who isn├óΓé¼Γäót responding to medication being prescribed to them, but bad news for anyone who doesn’t want to stick a catheter through their leg into their kidney.
Ouch! Sounds painful.
