Uh-oh! It sounds like Niall Horan will have to stay off his feet for a little while!
As we’ve previously mentioned, the One Direction cutie pie has been dealing with knee problems ever since he was a wee lad, and after a long year of extensive touring he FINALLY had it taken care of!
Pictures recently surfaced showing the Irish muffin walking with the help of crutches at Heathrow airport and rumors began to swirl that he had already gone under the knife back in the U.S.! Well Niall took to Twitter to confirm the news and wrote:

Wowzers! We knew there was a good chance he was going to go under the knife, but we had no idea it was going to be MAJOR surgery!!
Luckily, it sounds like everything went smoothly and to make matters even better, he will have time recover before 1D kicks off their Where We Are tour on April 25 at Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, Colombia!
