Nick Cannon Drops 'The Invitation' -- An Eminem Diss Track Featuring Suge Knight! Yes, Really!

Nick Cannon Eminem diss track The Invitation

Yes, all the names listed in this post title really are meant to be there! And no, it isn’t 2010! LOLz!

We can’t blame you if you thought you went back in time, because the ongoing feud between Nick Cannon and Eminem has a very, very long history. And today, the Wild’N Out star just added another chapter! Get your popcorn ready…

On Monday morning, Cannon dropped The Invitation, a Hitmaka-produced track featuring Suge KnightHitman HollaCharlie Clips, and Prince Eazy. The artwork associated with the track makes it very, very clear that the whole thing is about Eminem before listeners even have to hit play; even the promo image includes a not-so-subtle “invitation” to the Stan rapper (below):

“Eminem — you are cordially invited by the Black Squad”

Uh-oh!

Even Suge gets in on the action early, opening up the video version of the new track with a clip that shows him talking on the phone behind bars. Again, the controversial music mogul didn’t leave much to the imagination when it comes to wondering if the diss track is about Slim Shady (below):

“You know I don’t do no talking, but Nick is family. And Eminem’s a bitch!”

Well then!!!

Without further ado, though, you need to listen to (and watch) this whole thing unfold in the brand new track (below):

Wow! Very… aggressive!!!

Cannon is wildin’ out (pun intended) from pretty much the start of it all, and early on he decides to bring the Detroit rapper’s personal life and family into the fold, as well as his own baby momma, Mariah Carey! At one point, the TV host and crossover performer raps (below):

“Call Kim, somebody get Hailey / And that other kid you raising that ain’t even your baby / Took a page out of Drake book, this might get a Grammy / We going back to back until you respond — on the family / My baby mama killed you off a decade ago / You still crying about it bitch, now who really the hoe?”

We told you, though… this isn’t 2010! Even if it feels like it! Ha!!!!

How’d This All Start?!

For those not closely following rap beefs — believe us, we don’t blame you — this all came about most recently because Eminem rapped about his former relationship with Carey, Nick’s current wife, on a new verse featured on Fat Joe‘s track Lord Above, from the rapper’s new album Family Ties. Nick obviously took exception to Marshall Mathers‘ verse, then, and quickly clapped back with his own!

And yes, these two (and Mariah) have literally been fighting on and off for more than a decade now.

No, but, like, these two have fought more than Stan and his girlfriend (played by Dido! LOLz!).

These two have fought more than Simon Cowell and… everybody on America’s Got Talent other than Nick (or anyone else with a penis). HA!!!

Seriously, though… what do y’all think Nick Cannon’s new diss track, Perezcious readers?! Sound OFF with all your opinions in the comments (below)!!!
