Gabrielle Union isn’t the only one with a bone to pick!

An insider has spoken out to People in the wake of the 47-year-old actress’ recent controversial firing from America’s Got Talent, offering insight into the “boy’s club” which has been orchestrated by judge and executive producer Simon Cowell.

The source explained:

“It’s true that America’s Got Talent is a boy’s club. Simon runs the show and as long as he’s there, he will continue to do so.”

The confidant added that people who work on the long-running NBC series will rarely “tell him, ‘no,'” elaborating (below):

“Everything goes by him and he’s rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.”

While Cowell has yet to personally weigh in, someone who has is Sharon Osbourne. Opening up to the ladies of The Talk, the former AGT judge revealed how she’s been feeling the past few days:

“It’s hard. Everybody’s experience on a show is different, and I was at that show for six years. I didn’t get let go.”

Although the 67-year-old is no longer with the competition series after departing in July 2012, she explained it wasn’t the show that pushed her to leave, it was the network:

“I left. And that’s the truth. I left because NBC, not because of the show. I had my own problems with the network. I don’t know about any of her concerns about the show.”

She went on to further divulge:

“Obviously, there wasn’t anybody of color on the panel when I was there. So, I honestly can’t say. But when I was there it was, you know, a great show to work on. The crew and everybody was amazing to me, everybody, except the network.”

Co-host Sheryl Underwood chimed in:

“I am always proud when someone in the workplace has the courage to stand up for what is right. It’s something that we need to talk about… things that are appropriate and things that are inappropriate.”

But Osbourne hasn’t been the only former judge to speak out! As we reported, Howard Stern, who served as a judge from 2012 through 2015, recently slammed Cowell’s questionable behavior:

“How is it that Simon Cowell has orchestrated this? He sets it up that the men stay, no matter how ugly they are, no matter how old they are, no matter how fat they are, no matter how talentless they are.”

He continued, sharing:

“But what he manages to do on all his shows is he constantly replaces the hot chicks with hotter chicks and younger chicks. Which is so obvious.”

Ouch!!
